Challenging but worth it: cyclists feel “Alive”

The thirty cyclists who successfully completed the seventh edition of the ALIVE challenge have returned to Malta. They cycled 1,300 kilometres from Oslo in Norway, Hamburg in Germany, finishing up in Amsterdam.

After eleven days of mental and physical suffering, the airport was ‘alive’ with the joy and satisfaction of the cyclists who managed to complete the challenge in three different countries.

It was not just cyclists, but also family members, who took part in the challenge.

A spokesman for the foundation told us that donations for this challenge are still pouring in and will be used for cancer research in the hope of alleviating the suffering for patients.
