Chamber of Small to Medium Enterprises says measures which have been announced provide some visibility for certain sectors

The Chamber for Small to Medium Enterprises said that the measures announced on Wednesday by the Government to gradually lift the restrictions implemented last month, give some visibility to certain sectors which can now plan better.

However, it said that what was communicated by the Government is clear proof that social dialogue has failed because the decisions were taken without consultation with the social partners.

The Chamber said that the amount of economic damage which these businesses are facing is leading them to the worst period of the pandemic. It said that it was very concerned about how these businesses will stay on their feet because of the considerable losses they are incurring.
