Charles Dalli appointed CEO of PBS

Charles Dalli, who is an engineer by profession, has been appointed as CEO of Public Broadcasting Services (PBS).

A statement issued by PBS said the Board of Directors announced the appointment during a meeting held today after a unanimous Board vote approved the appointment.

The decision was taken after the Board evaluated engineer Dalli’s performance in recent months and decided he should be appointed CEO with immediate effect while auguring him all success in his new appointment.

Engineer Dalli has held various positions during his career with PBS including Head of Operations and Deputy CEO and during the past eight months held the position of Acting CEO.
