Chris Cardona back in his post as Minister and PL Deputy Leader

Chris Cardona has again been appointed Minister for the Economy and Small Enterprises and Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, after having suspended himself from his duties earlier this week.

This development occurred in the wake of today’s meeting at Girgenti Palace between Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and the Labour Parliamentary Group.

Minister Cardona had suspended himself from his post after having been called in by the Police authorities to clarify some facts as part of the investigation into the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia.

Later, reports in the media in the past days had stated there had been an attempt at a frame-up against Minister Cardona.
