Churchgoers are obliged to wear masks or visors

The Church in Malta recalled the importance of the observance of preventive measures regarding Covid-19 pandemic.

In a statement, it said that while social distancing, temperature tests and other measures will continue to apply, persons attending for Mass have the responsibility to wear masks or visors.

These measures are in conformity with obligations stipulated by the Health Authorities regarding places of worship, which were updated on Friday, 7th August.

The Bishops of Malta and Gozo stressed on the great responsibility that we rigidly follow measures for the protection of health and life of ourselves and others.
