Company cheesed off as three men steal €521 worth of cheese

Three men between the ages of 19 and 42 were accused of stealing boxes containing cheese products from a container vehicle.

In Court the accused – Daren Charles Aquilina and Brian Agius from Zebbug – were given a 12 month sentence suspended for 18 months after admitting to the charges before Magistrate Monica Vella.

Josef Julian Al Madami, 19, was given a three year probation order. Magistrate Vella ordered the accused to jointly pay the sum of €521 to the company from where the cheese was stolen.
