Couldn’t bear wrong spelling on someone else – replicated tattoo to correct error

A young man who is a stickler for the Maltese language could not bear to see wrong spelling on a man’s tattoo, and decided to have a similar one made.

A photograph on social media some days ago of a man proudly showing off his fresh tattoo, upset this young man as one of the words included an orthographic error.

The youth accordingly decided to replicate the tattoo on himself, with the words this time in correct Maltese.

Although he has nothing against BirdLife, the young man stated that he had done this purely as a matter of principle, to see the text written correctly.

The young man later jokingly posted a photo of himself near a pool, where he noted with amazement that his tattoo had disappeared.

Was his message effective enough?
