Danish health officer faints during press conference announcing vaccine halt
A Danish Health Officer fainted during a news conference during which Denmark announced that it will be the first country to completely stop the use of AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine.
The head of the Division at the Danish Medicines Agency, Tanja Erichsen, fell to the ground while the head of the Danish Health Authority Soren Brostrom was speaking.
Brostrom immediately went to help her and immediately stopped the live broadcast. The broadcast continued some time later and Erichsen left of her own accord but was taken to hospital for observation.
