DB Group welcomes any investigation on ITS land

The DB Group has stated that it will welcome any kind of investigation regarding the ITS land which it acquired from Government.

In a statement, DB Group Chief Executive Arthur Gauci referred to what had been stated in Parliament by former PN leader Simon Busuttil, regarding the need for an investigation into the transfer of this land.

Mr Gauci  declared that the Group was not conscious that a wrongdoing might have been perpetrated in this transfer, which for the first time ever had been valued by Deloitte, an auditing firm with a high reputation.

The Chief Executive invited Dr Busuttil to hand over to the Magistrates or the Police any relevant information he might have.

Mr Gauci added that the Group had immediately accepted scrutiny from national and European institutions, and remains open and willing to cooperate with whoever wishes to investigate the contract.
