Death of President of Gozo Chamber of Commerce

The death has been announced of the President of the Gozo Chamber of Commerce, Joseph G. Grech, at the age of 78.

The Gozo Chamber of Commerce said in a statement that Grech had worked with dedication in the Chamber since its setting up in 1999, initially as Chief Executive, and from 2016 to date, as President.

The Gozo Chamber  added that Grech’s contribution was instrumental in the Chamber being recognised as the primary representative of the commercial community in Gozo, both at national and international levels.

Grech was also recently appointed President of INSULEUR, the association of chambers of commerce on islands.

Grech had also been leader of the Malta scouts, and had been involved in other philanthropic organisations.
