Demonstrators arrested in Minnesota after coming to blows with Police

Scores of people have been arrested after hundreds of demonstrators came to blows with Police outside Police Headquarters in Minnesota. The demonstrators were protesting against the death of a black driver who had been stopped by a traffic policewoman and then shot with a pistol in error, instead of being tasered.

The protests have been going on for six consecutive nights. 20-year-old Daunte Wright was stopped by the Police because the registration on his vehicle had expired, 48-year-old Police officer Kimberly Potter drew her gun instead of a taser in what Police describe as an incident.
