Maltese singer Destiny concluded her first performance of the song Je Me Casse on the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam on Sunday afternoon.
Dressed in bright pink, Destiny described her first performance on stage as incredible and said she was very happy that everything went well. She was accompanied by four other dancers on stage who gave a good performance of the song with which Malta is participating in the 65th edition of this musical competition.
Malta will be competing in the first semi-final on 18 May after the competition was postponed last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The festival is being held in the Ahoy arena in Rotterdam where, from today, rehearsals of singers of each country due to take part in the semi-finals on both the 18th and the 20th of May have started. Destiny will be singing Je Me Casse at the end of the first semi-final.
Due to the pandemic, 3,500 people will be allowed inside the hall, and everyone who attends must present a negative Covid test. A total of 39 countries will take part this year.
