Did you know what happens to cigarette butts?

Cigarette butts are the most type of trash that end up in the sea, and are eaten by fish and maritime creatures, with the consequence of killing them.

As awareness continues to grow on refuse, in particular material which is destroying maritime life, only a few are conscious that a cigarette butt does not disintegrate by time.

This photograph posted on the social sites by Plastic Crisis Alliance is one of many types of litter being published to raise further awareness among people on the plastic environmental pollution.

Plastic Crisis Alliance is a non-governmental organisation, based in Texas USA, which is trying to acquire also funds to organize cleansing initiatives. It is also making pressure on politicians to commit themselves to the reduction of the production and use of plastic.
