Died and was resurrected – inmate says he served life imprisonment

Benjamin Schreiber, a prison inmate in Iowa is appealing to be released from prison after he alleged that he has served his life sentence.

Schreiber became seriously ill and was admitted for treatment in a hospital where he was declared clinically dead for a moment, however he was resurrected through doctors’ intervention.

American Courts are rejecting the prisoner’s request, who says that his custody is breaching the law.

Schreiber was sentenced to life imprisonment on a 1997 murder, however in March 2015 he was diagnosed with a severe kidney disease.
