Despite having a missing leg, this dog is still alive thanks to Animal Welfare workers who rescued it fifteen days ago.
The Animal Welfare office had received an anonymous phone call on emergency number 1717, and when workers arrived at the indicated site in Marsa, they found a dog dumped in a skip.
The dog was in pain and in a desperate condition, suffering from a great wound in his leg with its bones nearly visible. The wound was so serious that, unfortunately, vets couldn’t save the dog’s leg and had to be amputated.
Despite its condition, this dog – who is yet without a name – managed to live and is slowly recovering, both physically and even emotionally.
