€10 million for restoration project at St Vincent de Paule

An investment of more than €10 million is expected to be spent on a restoration project at the Rużar Briffa complex at St Vincent de Paule which providing treatment for more than 165 elderly residents.

svprParliamentary Secretary Justyne Caruana said that the project will be split into three phases. The first phase will see an investment of €3.5 million and will be ready by the end of next year. The second phase will start exactly afterwards and will cost €4 million.

The third phase will consist in the construction of two more buildings.

When it’s ready, this complex will be able to house more elderly people, as the beds will increase to 250.
