Story Published

The Gozo Ministry will be donating €120,000 to voluntary organisations which carry out initiatives in Gozo. This represents an increase of 20% in funds from last year.

Minister Clint Camilleri said that this assistance shows the confidence which the Government has in voluntary organisations and the recognition of the good they do in the community. He added that this scheme aims to strengthen the social, cultural and ecological sectors.

During the press conference, Minister Camilleri presented the financial allocation to 10 voluntary organisations including musical and cultural groups, those which work with animals, and those in the business sector which applied and were chosen to benefit from last year’s scheme, but whose initiatives will be carried out this year.
