Elderly man grievously injured in Birkirkara accident

A 90-year old elderly man was urgently hospitalised this morning after he was involved in a traffic accident in Birkirkara.

The accident occurred at around 6.30am in Triq Dun Karm when a King Long vehicle collided with a Chevrolet Matiz car, driven by the 90-year old who is a Tas-Sliema resident. The other vehicle was driven by a Filipino man.

The elderly man was hospitalised for further treatment, where he was later on certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.
