Elderly woman dies after testing positive for Covid-19

The Ministry of Health has been informed that an elderly woman, aged 91, has died after testing positive for Covid-19.

The woman was confirmed positive for the virus on 10 September and was admitted to hospital on 22 September, where she died yesterday.

The woman had other underlying conditions.

While conveying its condolences to her relatives, the Health Ministry continues to appeal to the public to adhere to the measures issued by the Health Department, including the washing of hands, social distancing and the wearing of masks.
