Eleven wounded in New Orleans shooting – two in critical condition

Eleven persons have sustained injuries after being hit by gunshots in New Orleans. Two of the injured are in a critical condition.

The Police said they were informed of the attack which took place in a street on the periphery of the French Quarter at about 3.20 a.m.

A person has been detained by the Police, but his involvement in the shooting is as yet not clear.
