EU countries not accepting Johnson & Johnson certificate

Maltese health authorities are issuing vaccine certificates to a number of people who have been vaccinated by the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

This is after a number of people who were abroad in various European countries including Luxembourg, Sweden and France found it difficult to enter a number of food establishments on presenting their vaccine certificates because of a technical problem.

A spokesperson for the Health Ministry was quoted as saying that those who took the J & J vaccine and will be travelling to these countries are urged to contact the health authorities by phoning 145 or by sending an email to [email protected] for the certificate to be issued.
