Evelyn Vella Brincat, a member of the Nationalist Party Administrative Council and President of the party’s Candidates College, has died. She served also as a minority leader in the Pembroke Local Council and was a presenter of NET TV programmes and also on NET FM.
In a statement, the Nationalist Party said that Evelyn Vella Brincat had been active in politics for a number of years and also contested the general election with the Nationalist Party. She was also active in the voluntary sector as member of the Women’s National Council and a founder member of the Metastatic Breast Cancer Malta Support Group, among others.
The Nationalist Party said that Evelyn Vella Brincat will be remembered for her good character, and that she continued till the end to fight injustices in society and in favour of animals.
