Ex-Man United Captain donates top to be auctioned for Puttinu

The former Captain of Manchester United and of the England national team has also contributed to the 60-hour marathon in aid of Puttinu.

Bryan Robson, who also received cancer treatment when he became ill in 2011, signed a top which will be auctioned to help raise more funds for Puttinu.

The top is expected to be much sought after by collectors, even more so as it is a memento of the historic agreement between Malta and Man United, announced two days ago.

In a recorded message, Robson made an appeal for donations to Puttinu. The fund-raising marathon ends today.
