Face masks obligatory in Spain in public and in enclosed public places

Spain has declared that the wearing of face masks in public is obligatory as well as in enclosed public places where social distancing is not possible.

Only children under the age of six and those with breathing problems will be exempt under a Law that becomes operative tomorrow, Thursday.

In Spain almost 28,000 people have died as a result of the pandemic while 232,000 persons have been infected.

The Spanish Government has extended the state of emergency by a further two weeks.
