Fifth cat rescued from home of elderly woman found dead in Qawra

A fifth cat has been rescued during the late morning from the home of Janet Harvey, the elderly English woman who was found dead in bed in her Qawra apartment.

A dead dog was also found under the bed in the same apartment, as well as a number of live cats, of which four have been rescued.

Presenter and animal activist Moira Delia wrote on social media that the fifth cat was found today, having been caught in a baited trap.

It is understood that a sixth cat, which is hiding somewhere in the apartment, still remains to be caught.
