Finnish Sanna Marin to become world’s youngest Prime Minister

Finnish Sanna Marin, 34, is to become the youngest prime minister in the world.

Marin was the Minister for Transport and was chosen by the Social Democratic Party, which she represents, replacing Antie Rinne, who resigned from office after a vote of no confidence.

She will lead a five party coalition in Finland, all of which are run by women.

The youngest prime ministers in the world are currently New Zealand’s Jacinda Ardern who is 39 and Ukraine’s Oleksiy Honcharuk who is 35 years.
