Five sentenced to death after being found guilty of murdering journalist

A Saudi Arabian Court has sentenced five people to death in connection with the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi a year ago.

The international media which is reporting this case widely and giving it media prominence said that this was confirmed by the country’s Prosecutors.

The journalist was critical of the Saudi government and was murdered in the Saudi Arabia Consulate in Istanbul.

The Saudi prosecutor said that this assassination was the result of an operation which was not sanctioned by government and where Saudi agents acted independently of government. Elven people were processed, five of whom were sentenced to death.
