In Italy: thousands protest against Fascist movements

Members of Italian unions took to the streets of Rome to protest against Fascist movements and called on the Government to have them banned after their involvement at the end of last week in violent incidents.

“No to Fascism and violence”, “Yes to work, security and rights”, were the cries of thousands of demonstrators.

On 9th October, Police arrested 12 persons including leaders of the extreme right party, Forza Nuova, after thousands took to the streets to protest against the obligation to be vaccinated. The resulting turmoil was condemned by a number of other Italian political parties while two of the leaders of Forza Nuova have remained in jail following a Judge’s order.
