UPDATED: Four children among 20 new cases of Covid-19 in Malta

20 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Malta over the past 24 hours after 1,769 swab tests were carried out.

The health authorities stated that meanwhile, two other persons have recovered, bringing the total number of active cases to 267.

Of the new cases reported today, eight are part of the Paceville cluster, and six have been in contact with other persons who had already tested positive.

Four of today’s 20 cases are children, and TVM can confirm the children’s ages range between 18 months and ten years.
