France: Three people die while trying to help others

Three rescue workers have died in France while trying to help people who were trapped in the floods. They lost their lives when their helicopter crashed close to Marseille.

The officers said that the helicopter, a EC145, was in the air when suddenly all contact was lost.

The helicopter and three crew members were close to Rove. At the moment France is being hit by very bad storms which have led to flooding and several deaths.
