Germany is shocked by the murder of a 20-year old youth who was fatally shot in cold blood in a fuel station after he asked a client to wear the mask while buying a beer from a shop near the station.
The youth killing, which occurred during last weekend in Idar-Oberstein, is the first such crime relating to restrictions introduced by German authorities in connection with the Covid pandemic.
German prosecutor, Kai Fuhrmann, told journalists that the aggressor suddenly produced a revolver and shot the victim in the head.
The suspect, a 49-year old German national, surrendered to Police the day after the murder. He admitted he committed the crime.
