Customs Department placing great quantity of items for sale by offers

The Customs Department has placed a great quantity of items on sale by offers. The Department said it will receive sealed offers for the items that were seized by the Department. The items are split into 197 lots.

Among the items offered on sale are:

Gas cookers
Musical instruments
Ceramic tiles
Beauty products
Spare parts
Household items
Tea sets
Costume jewellery
Wooden furniture
Bamboo tables and chairs
Quantity of wine

The sale by offers will take place on Thursday, 12th December in the afternoon.

All those interested in viewing the items or lots may do so from 9th December to the day of sale and may be viewed at the Newport Bonded Stores in Marsa.

From offer lists that are available from these stores (further in from the Potato Stand area).

Viewing times are from 8 am to 12 noon and then 1 pm to 4 pm. All those making offers have to present a valid ID Card or a passport.
