Glasgow: drunk pilots arrested to stop them from flying planes

Two pilots from the airline Air Transat were arrested at Glasgow airport after airport employees reported them for being drunk. The pilots were schedule to fly from Glasgow, Scotland to Toronto, Canada, with 250 passengers on board. The pilots aged 37 and 39, were arrested yesterday shortly before 1pm in the afternoon. As a result, the flight had to be postponed, with passengers taken to a hotel until the time of the next flight which is expected to be today.  The airline said that it was waiting for the results of the inquiry before commenting about the accident. It said however that the company’s priority would continue to be the health and safety of its crew and passengers. .
