Greece crisis: Negotiations approved for the third Greek bailout.

The German Parliament has approved a motion to pave the way for negotiations on the €86 billion bailout to Greece.  The motion was approved with 400 deputies voting in favour, 100 against.  Before the vote was taken, Chancellor Angela Merkel warned on what she called as a chaos that might emerge if the Bundestag does not approve the Greek plan.

In Brussels, the European Council also approved a bridge loan of seven billion euro so that Greece will have enough currency to pay its debt that expires this month and in August, until details of its loan can be agreed upon.
