GRTU gives Government until end of week for solution to be found on petrol stations

The GRTU said that it would be giving the Government by the end of this week to finalise discussions on the issue which has developed over petrol stations.

In a statement, the GRTU said that yesterday it held talks with Energy Minister Joe Mizzi on their demands for a raise in the profit margins for petrol stations, however, it would not be divulging any details about the ongoing discussions.

It said that by Friday the discussions will be complete and if no solution is found it may call for a general meeting for its members on Monday.
