Gunman who killed 4 Marines at US Naval centres, identified

The 24-year-old man who killed four US Marines and injured several others has been identified as Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez. The man opened fire on two military centres of the US Navy in Tennessee and was eventually killed by the FBI.

Earlier this year, the young man had been arrested for drunk driving.

After the Marines were murdered, the Police carried out a raid on Abdulazeez’s residence in Hixon where they found two women, who were then arrested.

The FBI said it was too early to speculate about the motive behind the attack.
