Ħaġar Qim to be closed at weekend for repairs to tent covering

Heritage Malta has announced that Ħaġar Qim will be closed to the public this weekend, being Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July, because of repairs which need to be carried out on the protective covering.

The covering had suffered damages in December during a heavy storm over the Maltese Islands. The repairs could not be carried out earlier, as workers and material could not be brought to Malta because of the closure of airports worldwide.

The Imnajdra Temples and the Visitors Centre will be open to the public at a reduced charge.
