Hold-up at Sliema shop

A masked man carrying a pointed women entered a shop in Sliema last night to carry out a hold-up.

The case happened at around 9pm in Triq l-Imrabat.

He entered the shop and demanded cash from the two employees –  a 56-year-old woman and a 36-year-old woman. As soon as he took the money he fled from the scene.  Fortunately no one was injured.

The Duty Magistrate was informed of the case and appointed various experts to assist her in her inquiry.

The investigations are being led by police officers from St Julian’s police station and the Department of Criminal Investigations.
