Hong Kong police again resort to tear gas

In Hong Kong, the Police once again resorted to teargas to stop anti-government protests in an industrial suburb after activists threw petrol bombs and bricks.

The latest incidents occurred as China freed a United Kingdom consulate employee who was detained due to current tensions.

This is the first time that Hong Kong police used teargas in 10 days following a number of demonstrations, many of whom were peaceful.

Currently, there are no indications that anti-government protests will stop almost three months since the first demonstrations started.
