Hong Kong with new measures against coronavirus because of spread of third wave
Hong Kong has re-introduced strict measures on social distancing in the wake of the third wave of coronavirus which is spreading throughout the city.
All passengers on public transport are obliged to wear a mask. And restaurants cannot serve patrons indoors between 6.00 p.m. and 5.00 a.m., whilst bars have been shut down completely.
People cannot get together in groups of more than four, and places like gyms, beauty parlours and theme parks have been shut down again.
Experts are saying this third wave of infection which is spreading in Hong Kong is the worst one so far.
173 new cases of Covid-19 have been registered in Hong Kong between 5 and 11 July, of which 107 have been transmitted locally.
