First member of the X Factor Malta jury revealed – Howard Keith Debono

Renowned music producer and Earth Garden Festival Organiser Howard Keith Debono will be first to hop on board the X Factor Malta judging panel.

Better known for being local singer Ira Losco’s music manager, Howard Keith Debono has it all – the experience, both locally and internationally, and an artistic vision. Debono is known for sniffing out talent and has worked with big local and international names – from local pop stars Ira Losco and Chiara to big international productions ranging from ‘The Hulk’ to ‘Lord of the Rings’.

Debono, also known for his honesty and saying it as it is in the music biz, is a master at spotting talent and nurturing it to it’s maximum potential.

In an interview with TVM, Debono said that at first he was sceptical about the whole project but, upon further reflection, he came to realise that the X Factor always worked as it exposed promising artists leading them to success and stardom.

Debono further added that the X Factor Malta is a prestigious project which is luckily for us, being held in Malta to expose budding Maltese talent.

He admitted that ultimately for him, accepting this new musical role was an honour which will, without doubt, take him on a new roller-coaster journey of discovering hidden talent ready to prove itself.
