Hurricane Willa hits Mexico

The hurricane which has been nicknamed Willa, has been described by weathermen as life-threatening and potentially catastrophic. The hurricane has hit Western Mexico.

The hurricane, classified as a Category 3 storm, has winds reaching up to 195 kms per hours. The National Hurricane Centre has warned residents to stay indoors.

Earlier this month, parts of the EU were badly hit by Hurricane Michael which left at least 27 people dead.
