“I was one of those who did not vote for Adrian Delia” – Robert Arrigo

In the wake of the turbulence within the Nationalist Party, MP Robert Arrigo revealed that he had been one of those who had worked against the candidature of Adrian Delia for the PN leadership.

Mr Arrigo, who some days ago resigned his post as Deputy Leader of the Nationalist Party, stated this in front of the Parliament building when asked by Dissett about the Nationalist MPs who want to remove Dr Delia from Leader.

Replying, Mr Arrigo stated he had been one of those who had not voted for Adrian Delia, so much so that he had organised transport for some 400 persons to vote for someone else.

“But being gentlemanly means that since there is a leader, he is the leader,” Mr Arrigo concluded.
