“I will give my all -100%” – Ike and Kaya on winning the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest

My Home sung by Ike and Kaya will be representing Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest which will take place on the 19th of December in Paris.

The winning song was chosen from among 12 singers who took part in the final of the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest which was broadcast on TVM on Saturday evening.

The next day the winners spoke to TVM about their excitement to do Malta proud.

Ike and Kaya are 11 years old. Yesterday this duo was chosen among 12 singers to represent Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest which will take place on the 19th of December in Paris.

Less than 24 hours later, Ike and Kaya told the News centre that they seem to be living a dream and that they will give their all on the stage of the French capital.

“I am proud and will give 100% on stage,” Ike said.

“I joined JESC last year and came fourth … this year I was with Ike and we will go to Paris and give our 100%,” added Kaya.

The final of the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest was broadcast on Television Malta.

The song Running Free by Myca, Kylie & amp; Denzel Jo got second place and On My Way sung by Yulan Law came third.

The singers had to go through both jury votes as well as the televoting with the weight of the decision being split in half.

The final of the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest was broadcast at the Robert Sammut Hall in Floriana.

But beyond the singing, what does Ike intend to do upon his arrival in Paris?

“I’ll get a croissant under the Eiffel Tower for sure!” He told us with a smile.
