Second group of MV Aquarius immigrants leave Malta

The second group of immigrants who disembarked in Malta from Aquarius early this morning left for Luxembourg according to the sharing agreement in which EU countries voluntarily agreed to accept them.

The ship Aquarius entered Malta on 15th August after agreement had been reached that the 141 immigrants on board be relocated to France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal and Spain.
