Brazil: The new pandemic epicentre for Covid-19?

In Brazil the death toll has now exceeded 20,000 persons while 300,000 have tested positive to coronavirus reflecting growing fears that Latin America may become the new pandemic epicentre.

Brazilian Health Authorities are striving to control the spread of the pandemic with doctors at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paolo creating a generic scan that tests 1,500 persons at once.

Other countries in the region, including Mexico, Chile and Peru are encountering great difficulties in their efforts to control the pandemic.
