Ukrainian singer felt unwell – prevented from Eurovision rehearsal

The lead singer of the Ukrainian musical group Go A, Kateryana Pavlenko, this morning said she was feeling slightly unwell and was prevented from rehearsing her song for the Eurovision Song Contest being held in Rotterdam.

In a statement the organisers said according to health and safety protocols she has to undertake a PCR test for Covid-19 and as a precautionary measure Kateryana could not carry out her rehearsal on stage and could also not participate in a media conference.

The organisers wished her a speedy recovery and said they will be announcing the result of the PCR test.
