Putin’s critic Alexei Navalny released from Berlin Hospital

Alexei Navalny, the Russian Opposition Leader and critic of the country’s President Vladimir Putin, has been released from the Berlin hospital where he was undergoing treatment after being poisoned.

The Charité Hospital said it has ended the Navalny’s acute treatment as his position has improved.

On Facebook Navalny posted a picture of himself standing up accompanied by a message which said doctors gave him the full opportunity for recovery.

Navalny’s team is alleging he was poisoned on the orders of President Putin but the Kremlin has denied this allegation.

The Opposition Leader is 44 years old and became unconscious during a flight in Siberia on 20th August and the aircraft had to make an emergency landing in Omsk.

A few days later he was transferred to the Berlin Hospital for treatment.
