PD accepted as a Member of the European Liberal and Democratic Alliance

Malta’s Partit Demokratiku (PD) has been accepted as a Member of the European Liberal and Democratic Alliance (ALDE).

The PD’s MP Dr Marlene Farrugia addressed the ALDE Congress held in Amsterdam in Holland.

She said the PD’s policies in Malta conform to the principles of the Alliance by insisting on the rights of the individual coming before the powers of the State.

A PD delegation of six members including Party Leader Dr Anthony Buttigieg is attending the Congress.
