PM meets Council of the Gozo Chamber for Enterprise

Prime Minister Robert Abela and Gozo Minister Justyne Caruana held a meeting with the Council of the Gozo Chamber for Enterprise with the Chamber issuing a statement the meeting had been a positive one and during which various discussions were held including governance and Gozo’s particular needs.

The Chamber President, Joseph Borg, told the Prime Minister that governance based on transparency and ethics is needed for the country to progress further.

The Chamber maintained that its commitment is that Gozo becomes a model of sustainable development that respects the environment, is based on strong governance as well as strong institutions.

Prime Minister Abela urged the Chamber to remain proactive as he will be using a pro-market stance while maintaining an environmental balance.

This was PM Abela’s second meeting with entrepreneurs after yesterday evening’s meeting with a delegation from the Malta Chamber for Commerce.
